Tina grew up in Chamblissburg and attended Parrish Chapel as a child. It was at Parrish Chapel where she fell in love with Jesus and his church. As a young adult, Tina was called into ministry as a Christian Educator at Central UMC, where she served for five years until God sent her to Thrasher Memorial UMC, where she served as the Director of Spiritual Formation for twenty-five years. In 2021, Tina answered God’s call to become a Local Licensed Pastor and returned home to Parrish Chapel. Tina is passionate about serving others and reaching out to the community. She believes that the love of Jesus is meant to be shared.

Tina lives in Goodview with her husband, Tim Yates, and their dog Jack. Tina and Tim have two children Logan and Dustin, and a daughter-in-law, Monica.
